Family Indigo Dye Workshop
 
Create, learn, and explore the beautiful world of natural indigo together!
Join artist, author, and educator Rosa Chang for a fun, hands-on workshop inspired by her award-winning picture book, My Indigo World. Families will learn simple folding and resist-dyeing techniques before creating their own naturally dyed blue textile to take home.
This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and quality time together while introducing the rich history and cultural traditions of natural indigo.

Registration
$60 per family (1 child + 1 parent/guardian)
Recommended for ages 4+
A parent or guardian must accompany each child.
All materials are included.
 
Bringing more than one child?
Additional children from the same family are welcome to join for $20 per child. Please add one “Additional Child” registration for each extra child participating in the workshop.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please note that workshop registrations are non-refundable. Natural indigo dye and other workshop materials are prepared specifically for participants one week before the workshop, so we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting the preparation that goes into this hands-on natural dye experience.
Signed copies of My Indigo World will be available for purchase during the workshop.

가족과 함께 천연 인디고의 아름다운 세계를 배우고, 만들고, 탐험해 보세요!
작가이자 예술가, 교육자인 로사 장(Rosa Chang)의 수상작 그림책 "나의 인디고 세상(My Indigo World)" 에서 영감을 받은 체험형 워크숍입니다. 참가자들은 간단한 접기 기법과 방염 염색 기법을 배우고, 천연 쪽염색 (인디고) 로 세상에 하나뿐인 푸른 염색 작품을 직접 만들어 가져갈 수 있습니다.
초보자도 누구나 쉽게 참여할 수 있도록 구성된 이 워크숍은 가족이 함께 창의적인 시간을 보내며 자연염색을 경험할 수 있는 프로그램입니다. 또한 세계에서 가장 오래된 천연염료 중 하나인 인디고의 역사와 다양한 문화적 전통을 함께 알아보는 뜻깊은 시간이 될 것입니다.
